What difference will it make if you know who I am? I am an ordinary citizen asking the same questions you are asking. And through this site, I have given you another avenue to ask questions and voice your opinions.
I have posted photos; you have viewed the photos and formed your own opinions.
Lets just say that you have not identified me yet! Those you have named are not responsible.
As for my identity, well this is as close as it gets. Keep in mind that I am incognito.

If you've been caught doing something you shouldn't have been doing, then just say you're sorry, and that you won't be using the city vehicle for personal use again! Mr. Mayor, you tell everybody that you're wrong, you do work for all of us!" And if neither of you can do so, just remember, it wasn't a "boy" following all of the boys at TDOT when they were caught doing the things they shouldn't have been. It was Channel 4 News! It's been a Slow News Month! I'm sure Nancy Ammons would love to get in on this! Perhaps Phil from Channel 5 News too!" And if Barney Fife were here, he'd say Nip it! Just Nip it right now. The Town doesn't need a $1.5 million building for people to sit in and tell the taxpayers "I don't work for you!" "Nip It!" And if you're not doing anything wrong, quit worrying and thinking about people following you.

If you look at all these people who lives in town, it could be just about anybody who is John Q.
Many people have cameras. They even use them sometimes.
I am very thankful that John Q Taxpayer is helping this community. It's about time that someone stands up to give the people a voice. It has become all to comfortable and expected for taxpayers to just look the other way and not ask questions much less do anything. If your door was open and your AC unit was having to run full blast 24/7 would you sit and look at the door or close it?
With that in mind what are you going to do when you see elected and appointed officials treating your tax dollars like an endless sea of indulgance?

Everyone has the power and right to question athority, it was given to each one of us in the constitution. It's one of the few things in this life that is still free. I wonder if that is why most people take it for granted. Do you think people would want to be more involved if they had to pay for the privalige?

keith mcclurkan would be sewer super. he's also part time codes. I can't tell if that is listed on here-it's part time; but he also gets 40 cents on each dollar of permits written, so that's not a set amount, depends on how many permits issued.
And that's all I can tell you.
They ain't all getting rich but most of them ain't doing too bad for working right here at home in a little town and not having to commute everyday like most of us do. Most people at the markets, freds, dollar store, mcdonalds, ceebee, and the majority of factory people on a job in White Bluff ain't making as much as or more than that exceptin the part time and lowest end of the scale.
And the ones that have two city jobs is cleaing up real good.
I been told the city pays full health coverage and most family coverage paid too. That don't come cheap these days I can tell you. That would hundreds more a month to those salarys. Some places don't even offer family any more. Do those amounts include the use of city cars and gas that should be added in to what they make?
Plus I hear they pay a percent of tax collected to one of the office workers do you know if that is true? And what about the city court don't one of them earn money off of that?
Lil did you haft to tell them who you were or pay for that? Only thing is now they will know who asked for it and who it was that wrote it on here.
But if you are like me you don't care what they think.
all that for mowing grass and drinking coffee?
The community center was started by some citizens as a place to get together for the town poeple. I think the city of white bluff bought it from them.
I have a question about veterans park.Why did they buy more than 50 acres for that?Are we going to have a 6 flags over white bluff or something?
I don't care what kind of a deal we got. Why can't the city be built out there, it's plenty of room for it to grow.

Thank you tiny dancer. I looked thru some other paperwork and found this: Budgetary comparison schedule-general fund for the year ended June 30, 2005:Under expenditures of general government the amount for Health Insurance was budgeted for $97,000, revised to $97,500, and actually spent $97,107. Some of what I first looked at listed some ins.deductions. I don't know if that was maybe for the families coverage. And it didn't show up on everyone. So I won't say I know for sure what that was for.

Not knowing just how many workers the city has covered I can't say for sure, but yeah $97,000 does sound like it might be more than just individual health coverage. It is generally not offered to part time employees, and some others might be single or decline coverage because another family member already has insurance.
But just for example say there were 15 people on a plan costing $97,000 that would come to around $6500 each.
Again, I think everyone should be able to have good health coverage, so many do not it is now a crisis in our country.
But for those interested in the cost and benefits of local government it is part of that equation.

regulator-which members elect the chief and fire chief?The chief and fire chief get a paycheck, the volunteers do not. The city council, planning and zoning, and mayor get a certain amount each month.

If city hall is going to put off the meeting date, it should be posted on the door before closing today. Monday is the holiday, not tuesday, and the fair is not a good reason to postpone a regular business meeting. That's not a one day thing. Go another night.They put off july's meeting because that fell on a tuesday, and had it on thursday of the same week because they said they were suppossed to meet before the planning and zoning meeting each month.Unlesss planning and zoning are not having a meeting this month, or are moving theirs too, it can't be on the next tuesday of the month.Sounds like stalling, if they move the date.
